The City of Polokwane, in partnership with Mahube Training & Development, invites applications for 12-month learnership training programmes. These are open to unemployed youth residing in the Polokwane Municipality area. Don't miss your chance to gain practical skills and improve your employability through these accredited programmes.

Available Learnerships

  • Electrical Engineering NQF Level 2 - Ref: 01 (15 learners)
    Minimum Requirement: Grade 10 with Mathematics
  • Water and Wastewater Treatment NQF Level 2 - Ref: 02 (15 learners)
    Minimum Requirement: Grade 12
  • Water and Wastewater Reticulation NQF Level 2 - Ref: 03 (15 learners)
    Minimum Requirement: Grade 12
  • Landscape NQF Level 3 - Ref: 04 (30 learners)
    Minimum Requirement: Grade 12

Requirements

  • A South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 is required.
  • Must reside within the Polokwane Municipality
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must not have participated in any previous Learnership or ARPL programme
  • Subject to security vetting if selected

How to Apply

Send in a signed cover letter along with your comprehensive resume. Indicate your learnership programme and reference number in clear terms. Please attach the following:

  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Proof of residence (from municipal rates or authorised traditional leader, all documents must be stamped)
