Diesel Mechanic Learnerships 2025 – Gold Fields South Deep Mine, Westonaria
Gold Fields South Deep Gold Mine in Westonaria, South Africa, is offering exciting Diesel Mechanic Engineering Learnerships for 2025. This opportunity is open to individuals from local host communities, aiming to build a skilled, empowered workforce.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Full N3 with 4 trade-specific subjects:
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Diesel Trade Theory
- Engineering Drawing
- Must be medically fit for underground mining and pass heat tolerance screening
- Resident of a host community: Bekkersdaal, Zuurberkom, Thusanang, Hillshaven, Westonaria, Poortjie, Simunye, Kalbasfontein, or Jachtfontein
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete technical and theoretical training as per MQA requirements
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Participate in short courses and team development activities
- Maintain consistent and professional performance throughout the learnership
- Respect and follow company policies, values, and code of conduct
