Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK) is looking for a reliable and hard-working General Worker to join their Seed Department in Swellendam, Western Cape. This is a permanent position in the agricultural sector. No experience is required, and the role is open to anyone who meets the basic requirements.
Job Overview
This position forms part of the SSK Grain Services division, under the SSK Seed business unit. The successful candidate will assist with general operational duties, ensure the smooth running of the seed store, and maintain good housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations in the Seed Store
- Handle and move stock as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace
- Assist other departments when necessary
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Physically fit and mentally healthy
- Able to lift heavy items safely
- Follow instructions carefully
- Be reliable and safety-conscious
- A driver's licence with Code EB (Code 8) is advantageous.
