Who Should Apply
This bursary is for current university students in South Africa who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen
- Currently studying any of the following:
- BSc Actuarial Science
- BBus Science in Actuarial Science
- BCom Actuarial Science
- BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics
- Completed first year of actuarial studies
- Maintaining a GPA of 70% or higher
- Not receiving any other bursary for the year of application
Note: This bursary is not open to Grade 12 learners applying for their first year in 2026.
Responsibilities of Bursary Recipients
Students awarded the bursary are expected to:
- Submit required documents within 5 working days of request
- Complete the qualification within the allocated timeframe
- Pass all subjects each academic year
- Provide proof of tuition and academic-related expenses
- Graduate with at least 4 Actuarial Exemptions
- Share academic records each semester within 5 days of receiving them
- Commit to joining Momentum Group after graduation
