Faircape Restaurant and Catering, part of Faircape Life, is hiring a professional and experienced Waiter at Onrus Manor in Hermanus, Western Cape.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set and prepare tables according to standards
- Serve food and beverages courteously and efficiently
- Handle guest complaints and report to management
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas
- Restock condiments, utensils, and bar supplies
- Support stock audits and report breakages or losses
- Assist with events outside normal hours when needed
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven waiter experience in a hospitality setting
- Bartending or barista experience is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of menu items and serving etiquette
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Team player with a positive, service-driven attitude
Minimum Requirements:
- Clear health, criminal, and credit record
- Contactable references required
- Written references are compulsory for consideration
Working Hours & Benefits:
- 16.25 shifts per month
- Shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 (Monday to Sunday as per roster)
- Sunday pay: 1.5x rate
- Public holiday pay: 2x rate
- Quarterly performance bonuses (discretionary)
