Store Assistant Job – Soweto, Johannesburg
Join a well-established retail company in Soweto as a Store Assistant. This permanent position is available from 30 May 2025 to 27 June 2025. The role offers a monthly basic salary between R5,000 and R6,500 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve walk-in customers professionally and courteously
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment
- Complete accurate daily sales reports and cash-ups
- Track attendance and assist with staff coordination
- Maintain current stock records and store paperwork
- Monitor inventory and reorder stock when needed
- Open and close the store according to schedule
- Upsell and promote products through strong product knowledge
- Report store issues and updates to head office
- Handle customer complaints calmly and efficiently
- Support team efforts to meet sales goals

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of retail or general work experience
- Experience with POS systems and basic admin

Remuneration:
R5,000 – R6,500 monthly (based on experience)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 am – 16:00 pm
- Saturday: 08:30 am – 15:00 pm
