Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Casual Merchandiser to join their Sitari Fields store in Macassar, Cape Town. What the Job Is About
As a Merchandiser, you will ensure the store is well-stocked and products are correctly displayed. Your role involves replenishing shelves, rotating stock, maintaining clean displays, and assisting with customer inquiries. You will also support stock control and help maintain Dis-Chem’s high merchandising standards.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Up to 6 months’ retail experience
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Physically fit and able to handle stock
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Preferred Experience
- At least 1 year retail experience
- Knowledge of merchandising and stock rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish shelves and keep displays neat
- Check expiry dates and rotate stock using FIFO (First In First Out)
- Report out-of-stock, damaged, or expired items
- Assist with unpacking deliveries and back shopping
- Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
- Support with general stocktaking and counting
- Help customers find products and answer stock queries
- Wear correct uniform and uphold company policies
