Introduction

To expand their nationwide remote support team, Eduvos is seeking Online IT Support Technicians. If you're passionate about IT and enjoy helping others, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact supporting both students and staff across the country.

What the Job Is About

This role provides first-level technical support for Eduvos's online and part-time programmes. You'll respond to IT queries, manage service tickets, and ensure systems run smoothly. You'll also assist with tools like myLMS, Microsoft365, the Student Portal, and more.

Who Should Apply

  • Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in IT (NQF Level 7)
  • Professionals with at least 1–2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
  • Tech-savvy applicants with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Those who can work afternoon/evening shifts (weekdays) and Saturdays

Skills Requirements

  • Knowledge of Windows/macOS, networking, and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to support students on e-learning systems (myLMS, Outlook, portals)
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices and incident management
  • Experience using ITSM ticketing systems

Job Duties

  • Respond to technical queries from students and staff
  • Troubleshoot issues with connectivity, software, and accounts
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Azure licenses
  • Assist during assessments and exams (including proctoring tools)
  • Document common issues and contribute to a knowledge base
  • Escalate recurring or critical problems to senior teams

Working Conditions

  • Remote work, from afternoon to 9PM (Mon–Fri) and 8AM–4PM (Saturdays)
  • Reliable internet and power supply required
  • Must be punctual, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
