Youth Employment Opportunity at Eskom Duvha Power Station (YES 2025)
Introduction
Eskom is offering unemployed South African youth a valuable opportunity through its Youth Employment Service (YES) programme. This 12-month job experience at Duvha Power Station is designed to provide meaningful workplace exposure and a strong foundation for a future career in the energy industry.
What the Job Is About
The YES programme is part of a national initiative led by the Presidency to combat youth unemployment. Successful candidates will be placed across various departments at Duvha Power Station in Mpumalanga to provide support services and gain practical work experience.
Who Should Apply
- South African nationals between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must have a Grade 12/Matric certificate or equivalent
- Post-matric qualification (certificate or programme) is advantageous
- Must not have been permanently employed with one employer for over 12 months
- Should not be studying full-time during the employment year
- Must not have previously participated in the YES programme
