Fancourt, located in the scenic Garden Route town of George, is known as South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure, and lifestyle resort. They are now looking for a passionate and skilled Barman to become part of their vibrant hospitality team.
What the Job Is About
As a Barman at Fancourt, your main role will be to create and serve drinks, maintain a clean and organized bar, manage stock levels, and deliver excellent service to guests. You’ll be responsible for accurate billing, daily cash-ups, and ensuring a welcoming bar environment.
Who Should Apply
Fancourt is looking for energetic individuals who:
- Have completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Barhand in a 4* or 5* establishment
- Possess strong knowledge of cocktails and various liquors
- Have completed bar skills training (advantageous)
- Are familiar with a point-of-sales (POS) system
- Live in George or nearby areas
- Are willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

- Numerical accuracy for handling billing and cash-ups
- Ability to multitask in a busy bar environment
