Skills Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 with a relevant SHEQ qualification
- Experience with MS Office and strong administrative skills
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SQAS, RTMS, OHASA, COID Act, and SANS standards
- Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to handle SHEQ queries, inspections, and incident investigations
- Experience managing SHEQ systems such as SHEQX
- Understanding of accident/incident reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of transport safety regulations is a bonus
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and safety spot checks
- Perform risk assessments and manage incident investigations
- Assist with safety audits and maintain safety files
- Keep SHEQ noticeboards and statistics up to date
- Address equipment issues and coordinate with service teams
- Conduct site walkabouts and propose corrective actions
- Compile and analyze training assessments and audit results
- Capture reports and maintain SHEQX system records
- Monitor training and driver compliance matrices
- Distribute PPE and maintain accurate assignment records
- Support Drive Cam coaching and reporting
- Report injuries on duty (IODs) and follow COID procedures
