Are you a young person passionate about health, data, and community impact? TB HIV Care is looking for a Learner Data Capturer for their PPPrev programme in Mthatha. What the Job Is About
The Learner Data Capturer will assist the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team by capturing and consolidating facility and partner data. You’ll help ensure that all health-related data is received, processed, and reported on time for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews. You’ll also interact with stakeholders from both TB HIV Care and the Department of Health.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is open to youth who meet the following criteria:
- Aged between 18 and 24 years old
- Completed Grade 12 (Level 4) with training or interest in HIV, AIDS, and STIs
- Living near the identified health facility in Mthatha
- Motivated to attend training and complete assessments
- Interested in public health and data systems
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Basic computer skills with MS Office proficiency
- Clear communication skills in English (isiXhosa is an advantage)
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Clear criminal record is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly data
- Format and structure data per reporting requirements
- Maintain a register of data sources at facilities
- Flag missing or late data submissions and keep records
- Work closely with M&E teams and partner organisations
- Handle filing and administrative tasks
