Cosmetic Cashier – Dis-Chem Pharmacies (Hartebeespoort)

Job Overview

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring a Cosmetic Cashier at their Hartebeespoort store. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale and supporting merchandising of beauty and cosmetic products.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions at the cosmetic till point efficiently.
• Assist with merchandising when tills are not busy.
• Serve customers and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ensure all payments are processed accurately (cash, card, vouchers).
• Answer customer queries related to beauty products.
• Assist in maintaining clean, well-stocked displays.
• Follow security and cash-handling protocols strictly.
• Handle returns and exchanges following store policy.
• Refer cosmetic sales questions to the Cosmetic Consultant.
• Promote loyalty cards and benefits to customers.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• At least 6 months’ cashier or till operations experience.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Basic customer service skills.
• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willing to work retail hours.

• Ability to handle payments and refunds accurately.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
