Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in various earthmoving machines.

- Provide technical support, guidance, and mentorship to fellow technicians and apprentices.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Red Seal Earthmoving Mechanic.
- Minimum N2 Trade Theory including Engineering Science, Applied Mathematics, and Engineering Drawing.
- At least 5 years of post-trade experience in heavy equipment mechanical repairs.
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in heavy-duty equipment.
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and mechanical repair software.
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s License.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting operational deadlines.
- Basic welding proficiency and capability to handle field repairs when necessary.
- Personal set of mechanical tools required for all tasks.
