Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Acknowledge customers within 30 seconds of entering the store.
- Deliver excellent customer service according to Birkenstock procedures.
- Identify customer needs and demonstrate product benefits.
- Close sales and secure add-on sales to maximize revenue.
- Invite customers to return and create loyal Birkenstock fans.
- Monitor daily sales performance against individual targets.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Replenish footwear, apparel, and accessories from storerooms daily.
- Minimize shrinkage by monitoring store zones and customer interactions.
- Ensure accurate stock entries in POS systems.
- Process deliveries including checking quantities, tagging, pricing, and recording items in the system.
- Process customer orders efficiently.
Daily Operations
- Maintain store cleanliness including dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, and tidying change rooms.
- Assist managers with store opening and closing procedures.
Training & Development
- Take ownership of personal training and development.
- Be assigned a buddy for guidance and learning.
- Attend quarterly training sessions and complete assessments.
- Receive monthly feedback and progress reviews with store management.
- Follow the Birkenstock Rookie Pack to track eligibility for promotions.
Merchandising & Presentation
- Maintain store stock presentation according to Birkenstock standards.
- Ensure availability of all sizes on the shop floor.
- Assist with window displays and mannequin updates every two weeks.
- Properly store POS materials to prevent damage.
