Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds and deliver exceptional service following Birkenstock procedures.
- Identify customer needs and use technical product knowledge to demonstrate benefits and close sales.
- Promote add-on sales and encourage customers to return, building brand loyalty.
- Monitor daily sales against individual targets to ensure performance.
Inventory Management
- Replenish footwear, apparel, and accessories from the storeroom daily.
- Minimize shrinkage by following store zoning and changing room policies.
- Process deliveries, tag products, update POS records, and maintain accurate stock entries.
- Handle customer orders efficiently.
Daily Operations
- Maintain store housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and tidying change rooms.
- Assist the store manager with opening and closing procedures.
- Follow the Birkenstock training program, including quarterly sessions, monthly progress meetings, and completing assessments.
Merchandising
- Ensure store presentation meets Birkenstock standards, including window displays and mannequins.
- Replenish sizes as needed and store POS materials safely.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months’ customer service experience.
- Knowledge of Birkenstock products is advantageous.
- Flexible to work shifts as required by the retail environment.
