Clicks Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Nursing Practitioner to join their Clicks Bluff clinic. This role is ideal for professional nurses passionate about delivering quality primary healthcare services in a retail clinic setting. The position focuses on promoting wellness, providing immunizations, lifestyle management, and offering comprehensive primary healthcare to the community. Applicants will work in accordance with South African Nursing Council regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company policies and guidelines.
  • Provide lifestyle management screening tests and wellness services.
  • Conduct “Well Baby” clinics including health immunisations and baby monitoring.
  • Offer reproductive health services and adult immunisations.
  • Provide Primary Health Care including minor ailments, wound care, and phlebotomy services.
  • Compile professional, stock, and financial management reports.
  • Manage medical waste, ensure clinic safety, and handle adverse events or emergencies.
  • Counsel patients on health information, weight management, and refer to pharmacists or other health professionals as needed.
  • Plan and implement “Health Days” and other community projects.
  • Develop and maintain health professional networks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Registered Professional Nurse with SANC.
  • 3-year Diploma in Nursing or 4-year Nursing Degree.
  • Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health, or Midwifery.
  • Familiarity with Unisolv and Allegra systems (preferred) and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

  • Maintain patient information securely and accurately on electronic systems.
  • Administration and reporting to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Manage clinic stock, equipment, and cold chain compliance.
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen.
  • Ensure professional registration and indemnity are up to date.
