Skills & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to qualify for consideration:
- National Diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Management, or Occupational Health (NQF 5).
- Three years’ experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering and plant equipment.
- At least three years’ experience as a Safety Officer within the occupational health and environmental field.
- Professional Registration with SACPCMP (South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and report-writing tools.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the OHS Act 85 of 1993 and related environmental legislation.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
