- Resource Coordination: Order and track necessary materials, create purchase requisitions, and ensure communication across Supply Chain and Maintenance teams.
- Reporting: Generate detailed reports on callouts, risks, and tasks completed, maintaining full compliance with reporting procedures.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Uphold all safety standards, report lightning deviations, and conduct regular risk assessments.
- Administrative Support: Manage diaries, process orders, and ensure effective handovers between shifts.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements, ensuring alignment with the Anglo American Operating Model (AAOM).
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Technical qualification.
- NQF Level 4 in a related engineering or administrative field.
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a call centre or clerical environment within mining or heavy industry.
- Solid understanding of SAP systems and the MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of equipment components and functionality.
- Understanding of supply chain systems, emergency procedures, and OHS standards.
