Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring a fixed term Cleaner for their Greenvalley store in Johannesburg. The position involves keeping the store clean and hygienic according to Dis-Chem’s high standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- At least 6 months cleaning experience
- Good command of English
- Basic customer service skills
- Willing to work retail hours
Preferred Requirements
- Bilingual
- Experience in cleaning retail stores
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the store
- Clean shop floor, stock rooms, admin offices, canteen, and dispensary
- Ensure restrooms and canteen are clean and stocked
- Use correct cleaning equipment and materials
- Display wet floor signs during cleaning
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Comply with health and safety standards
