Millwright x2 Jobs – RCL Foods, Pretoria West
RCL Foods is hiring two qualified Millwrights for full-time positions at its Baking Division in Pretoria West, Gauteng. These are permanent engineering roles reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Millwright Trade Certificate
- At least 3 years of post-trade experience
- Experience with PLCs, VSD Drives, and panel wiring
- Strong reporting and job analysis skills
- Must mentor apprentices
- Must be available for shift work, callouts, and standby
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Experience with machinery like mixers, ovens, proofers, conveyors, slicers, and packaging machines
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to keep machines running efficiently
- Inspect motors, belts, bearings, and other parts for wear and damage
- Comply with food safety and health regulations
- Assemble, install, and repair plumbing and machinery systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on equipment
- Test and operate machinery to ensure correct performance
- Train and lead other workers on installations and maintenance tasks
- Record all maintenance and repairs accurately
- Lubricate gears, shafts, and bearings as required
- Work on machinery upgrades and new installations
