Rand Water Procurement Officer NQF Level 5 Learnership – 18 Months (10 Positions)
Rand Water is inviting unemployed South African youth between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply for the Procurement Officer NQF Level 5 Learnership Programme. This 18-month contract opportunity is open to 10 individuals, including 5 people with disabilities. The programme is designed to equip participants with essential procurement knowledge, practical experience, and workplace-based learning.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be unemployed
 - Not enrolled in any other qualification or learnership
 - Must not have a completed post-matric qualification
 - Matric (Grade 12) with English and Mathematical Literacy (minimum Level 4 in both)
 - Must have a SAQA / NLRD verification report
 - must possess a valid ID and be a citizen of South Africa.
 - Age between 18 and 35 years
 - People with disabilities are required to present documentation of their condition, such as an ITRDD13 or a doctor’s certificate.

Primary Duties
- Develop and manage procurement schedules
 - Handle supplier contracts and negotiations
 - Monitor procurement and supply performance
 
Responsibilities During Learnership
- Attend all scheduled training sessions
 - Participate in class activities
 - Complete assignments and practical projects
 - Write assessments and maintain a practical logbook
