We are offering a fitter apprenticeship for a motivated individual to join our mechanical maintenance team. This program includes real hands-on learning in a modern production setting.
What You Will Learn:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
- Assemble and disassemble production machinery
- Operate and understand non-woven needle punch machinery
- Work with fibre extrusion processes
- Apply safety procedures and quality control practices
- Solve problems in real-time during production
- Understand factory utilities like electrical, air, and water systems
- Monitor plant equipment conditions
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHACT) guidelines
- Take part in shutdown maintenance and planning
- Gain exposure to robotics in manufacturing
- Handle bearings, lubrication, and mechanical tools
- Practice welding, grinding, and cutting
- Understand pneumatics, pumps, and general mechanics
