Are you passionate about youth support and HIV prevention? TB HIV Care (THC), a trusted name in public health since 1929, is hiring a Learner Support Agent (LSA) for the PPPrev Programme in uMgungundlovu, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. If you are between the ages of 18–35 and want to make a real impact in your community, this is your chance!
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 / TVET Level 2 or Grade 10 + 1 year in HIV programmes
- Age: 18–35
- Speak English, IsiZulu & other SA languages
- Driver’s license is a plus
- HIV Counselling experience is an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mobilise and educate Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW)
- Promote HIV prevention, PrEP, and PPPrev programmes
- Screen and identify vulnerable youth
- Run youth clubs and support HIV case management
- Keep accurate records and submit monthly reports
- Attend training and team meetings
- Use tools to report mobilisation and case status weekly
