ET Plant & Earthmoving Solution is looking for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assistant to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about mechanical work and have a valid driver’s license, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are committed to providing hands-on training and development in the field of mechanical maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:

Performing Basic Maintenance: Assist with routine tasks like draining oil, changing oil filters, and conducting basic repairs under supervision.

Assisting in Overhauling Major Components: Help with the removal and replacement of essential components such as engines, transmissions, and more.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and ensure tools and equipment are used correctly to maintain a safe working environment.

Learning & Development: Continuously improve mechanical skills through training and hands-on experience.

Field Service Work: Willingness to travel and work on-site as part of field service operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.

Previous Mechanical Experience: Prior experience in mechanical work is beneficial, but not required.

Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and find effective solutions.

Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety standards.

Tool Proficiency: Comfortable with using mechanical tools and equipment.

Communication Skills: Clear communication with team members and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
