Important outcome:
- Work with technicians to inspect heavy machinery or help technicians inspect heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Work with technicians to carry out basic troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Work with technicians to remove and install parts in the workshop or on customer premises.
- Work with technicians to order necessary parts.
- Support technicians in creating precise machine analysis and reports for customers, including MIR.
- Assist technicians in performing general tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing customer support.
- Assist technicians with managing tasks like service reports, booking labor, parts returns, and tracking expenses.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Grade 12/N3 qualification with pure mathematics must pass with at least 45% (functional mathematics not considered).
- Grade 12/N3 with English must have passed with a minimum of 45%.
- Grade 12/N3 with Physical Science, at least 45% pass.
- Having N2 / N3 with relevant theory, like motor/diesel and/or electrical/electric theory, is an advantage.
- A World certificate for technicians will be an advantage.
- Possessing a minimum Code B Learner’s License (light motor vehicle) will be an advantage.
- Strong ability in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong numeracy skills or good mathematical skills.
