About the Role
As a Data Capture Clerk at Siqalo Foods, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate data recording and tracking within the production process. You’ll handle automated back flushing of finished goods, manage manual scanning backups, and perform quality checks to maintain smooth operations. Reporting directly to the Production Shift Manager, this position demands strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track plan versus actual performance and report feedback to Shift Production Managers.
- Manage SRV’s for packaging material and ensure accurate system transfers at the end of each production run.
- Create and balance stock to match SRV’s.
- Perform product tracking, tracing, and regular stock counts with management.
- Generate M1 and M4 tags and record end-of-shift waste figures.
- Co-ordinate rework processes, ensuring the quarantine area remains clean and organized.
- Handle adjustments of orders, including write-ons and write-offs for packaging materials and finished goods.
- Generate pull list requirements for materials for respective shifts.
- Ensure rotation of stock from end-of-run cupboards and maintain accurate PAMCO sheet recordings.
- Assist with system management tasks such as SmartTech data capturing and label reel changes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Valid Forklift Driver License.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Shopware systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SmartTech systems and finished goods management.
