About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and electronic maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar earthmoving equipment.

- Upgrade, calibrate, and download system files on electronic control systems.
- Install, configure, and test machine support systems and instrumentation.

- Perform non-electrical and air-conditioning repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Complete accurate customer service reports and documentation.

- Manage own administrative duties including labour bookings, part returns, expenses, and service reports.
- Maintain field service vehicle and associated tools and equipment in excellent condition.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience working with Caterpillar electrical and electronic systems.
- Proven technical skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and electronic issues.
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs on heavy earthmoving machinery.
- Strong understanding of Caterpillar machine technology and systems.
- Experience with air conditioning systems maintenance and repairs.
- Exposure to ISO quality systems and compliance procedures.
- Good working knowledge of Caterpillar software tools such as SIS, STW, and ET.
- Valid Code B driver’s licence.
