  • Maintain and update safety files, HSE records, and training registers with precision.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.

  • Support emergency preparedness, including drills, response planning, and equipment checks.
  • Engage with clients, auditors, and regulators on health and safety matters to ensure compliance and transparency.

Who Should Apply

You should have a solid understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to translate policies into practical, everyday actions that protect people and the planet.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • National Diploma or Certificate in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or Environmental Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HSE experience in facilities or mining operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong reporting ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer-based record-keeping.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence and a clear criminal record.
  • Experience working in remote or high-risk operational environments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate safety messages effectively.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
