The role supports equipment availability, risk control, and compliance while coaching artisans and apprentices to meet operational standards.
- Maintain equipment to meet production and safety targets
- Attend and conduct safety meetings and risk assessments
- Allocate tasks and coach subordinates on the job
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies
- Ensure spares, materials, and tools are available
- Record legal examinations and complete job cards
- Work to standards and specifications using correct tools
- Promote teamwork and positive employee relations
- Report at-risk behavior, incidents, and injuries
- Communicate defects and abnormalities to supervisors
