Job Purpose
The ideal candidate will create a strong learning foundation by focusing on key areas such as reading, literacy, and numeracy. The teacher will support a dynamic learning environment and build strong relationships within the school community.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring and future-focused Foundation Phase mathematics education.
- Motivate students to explore and improve their academic potential.
- Manage student behaviour with professionalism and consistency.
- Communicate openly and respectfully with parents, guardians, and staff.
- Complete academic assessments and progress reporting accurately.
- Uphold school safety and administrative procedures.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in ECD or B.Ed (Foundation Phase).
- PGCE if degree is in a related field such as Psychology.
- Valid SACE certification and police clearance.
- 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in the Foundation Phase.
- Computer and digital literacy skills.
- First Aid certification required.
