About the Role
The Liquor Product Registration Clerk provides administrative support for the registration, verification, and certification of liquor products for import and export. The role supports compliance with legislative requirements and quality standards.
This position works closely with Wine Online systems, laboratory services, and regulatory databases to ensure accurate processing of liquor documentation.
- Register, capture, and process import and export documentation
- Verify compliance with legislation and procedures
- Print approved documents and invoice export certificates
- Compile and maintain statistical and registration data
- Conduct preliminary label evaluations against legislative prescripts
- Validate data between Wine Online, SAWIS, and LIMS systems
- Assist with the maintenance of the vinotheque and sample records
- Prepare wine tasting lists and assist with sensorial evaluations
- Transport samples to laboratories and liaise on logging processes
- Provide helpdesk and user support for Wine Online systems
- Support officials with validation and basic policy inputs
- Maintain databases and registration records for liquor operators
- Operate the switchboard and provide administrative relief services
- Maintain asset registers and adhere to health and safety standards
