About the Position
As a Reservations Call Centre Agent, you will be the first contact for our guests. You will handle calls and emails, process bookings, offer helpful advice, and ensure all reservations are managed with care. Your role will help create amazing guest experiences across our wide range of hotels and properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly way
- Make accurate bookings for hotels and packages
- Keep records of guest information, payments, and requests
- Upsell special packages and room upgrades when possible
- Follow up on quotes to turn leads into confirmed bookings
- Help resolve guest issues and escalate when necessary
- Share rate details and specials within approved guidelines
- Stay updated on all products, packages, and deals
- Assist with guest requests like airport transfers, dinner bookings, etc.
- Report system errors or overbooking issues
- Use the PMS (Property Management System) effectively
- Ensure payments and invoices are posted correctly
- Maintain and complete all checklists and admin daily
- Reply to all emails within required time frames
- Attend training to keep improving performance
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Certificate
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to stay calm in a busy environment
- Team player who can also work independently
- Problem-solver with quick thinking skills
- Hospitality or call centre experience preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS is a bonus
