What You Will Learn and Do:
As a Learner Mechanic, you will:
- Complete theoretical training and hands-on experience
- Learn to repair and maintain Earthmoving Equipment
- Keep a logbook, skills records, and training documentation
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Work in teams and communicate effectively
- Maintain clean and safe workspaces
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Establish a solid basis for a long-term career as a mechanic in South Africa.
Qualifications Needed:
- Grade 12/N3 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
- At least 50% in English
- N3/N4 with theory in Motor/Diesel/Electrical (advantageous)
- Technician for the World certificate (T4W) (must be completed before start)
- Basic computer skills are a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Code B or EB; C/C1 is a bonus)
