Main Purpose of the Job
The Retail Store Assistant helps manage daily operations, support customers, and ensure store activities are completed correctly and on time. You’ll handle both admin and customer service duties while keeping the store running smoothly.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP
- Previous retail experience
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and compliments
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Assist customers with stock queries and product returns
- Manage cash handling, refunds, and returns
- Ensure all goods are received and logged correctly
- Support the Receiving Manager with invoice and delivery checks
- Control and monitor high-risk stock
- Order and manage cashier change requirements
- Maintain proper document control for cash, petty cash, and floats
- Report daily cash reconciliation and transactions

Special Conditions of Employment
