Job Title: Apprentice Level 1 – Hyundai Springfield
As a 1st-year apprentice, you’ll get practical training and work alongside experienced technicians. You'll learn everything from engine repair to electrical diagnostics.
What You’ll Learn and Do:
- Remove, recondition, and replace cylinder heads
- Dismantle, service, repair, and reassemble engine blocks and main components
- Diagnose and replace fuel system components
- Understand the basics of automotive electronics
- Test and inspect ignition systems
- Study engine efficiency and forced induction systems
- Repair or replace electrical components
- Remove and replace clutch and transmission systems
- Diagnose and repair brake systems
Requirements:
To qualify for this exciting apprenticeship, you must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science
- A relevant tertiary qualification or training in automotive or mechanical studies (advantageous)
