SHEQ Officer Job in Springbok – Barloworld Equipment Careers South Africa

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment compliant with all safety legislation.
- Educate employees on health and safety requirements.
- Investigate and report all workplace incidents and vehicle accidents.
- Assist in developing HIRA, SOP, and PTO documents.
- To get ready for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, audit departments.
- Conduct site inspections and internal audits regularly.
- Report using Cura system and manage corrective actions.
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards.
- Attend SHEQ-related meetings and manage SHEQ administration tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 with technical background.
- National Diploma in SHEQ Management (advantageous).
- SAMTRAC, COMSOC 1 and 2 certifications or equivalent.
- Computer literacy – MS Office proficiency.
- Valid Code B Driver’s License.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years in health and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws.
