Learnership Opportunity: LED – City of Ekurhuleni

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • South African citizen
  • Must be a resident of City of Ekurhuleni (Proof required)
  • Computer literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service orientation

Core Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the learning and work experience process
  • Attend all required training and theory sessions
  • Follow workplace rules and policies
  • Complete reports or assessments as required
  • Perform tasks assigned by the mentor
  • Work well with team members and supervisors
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Selected learners will receive full training to develop key workplace skills. A learnership agreement with the SETA and the City will be signed.

  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Training Responsibilities

  • Attend required learning and work sessions
  • Comply with all workplace rules and training guidelines
  • Complete timesheets or assessments as needed

Workplace Placement Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Help with queries, complaints, and order processing
  • Use scripts and guidelines when assisting customers
  • Update customer details accurately
  • Follow up on unresolved issues
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
