Job Purpose
Responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, and team operations to support business profitability and improve financial standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting for F&B and hotel departments
- Manage payroll costs and productivity tracking
- Investigate variances and compile forecasts and budgets
- Handle invoice processing, payments, and credit notes
- Coordinate stock control, asset management, and capex tracking
- Ensure compliance with tax and accounting standards
- Manage internal and external audits and reporting packs
- Advise on risks and performance improvements
Compliance Duties
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and statutory returns
- Implement and monitor financial controls
- Maintain risk registers and insurance declarations
- Guide teams on process updates and regulations
People Management
- Manage staff attendance, performance, and onboarding
- Identify and close skill gaps through training and coaching
- Recruit and retain skilled finance professionals
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with Shared Services Centre for all transactions
- Work closely with business managers on financial results
- Present financial insights and risks to leadership
Requirements
- B.Com Honours (CTA) with completed Articles
- Minimum 5 years' financial management experience
- Hospitality or gaming industry experience is a plus
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax law, and financial systems
- Proficient in MS Office; IFS Finance knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with stock control and financial reporting tools
