About the Role
The Picker role involves general warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading shipments, managing cargo, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate will work well in a team, maintain a clean work environment, and follow safety procedures closely.

Key Responsibilities
- Accept and record deliveries in the Goods Received Book
- Load and unload trucks or airline units using trolleys, forklifts, or by hand
- Store incoming products in appropriate cold rooms to maintain cold chain
- Pick orders accurately as requested
- Inspect airline units to ensure equipment is in good condition
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support warehouse security and assist with import collections
- Follow instructions from supervisors and management
- Identify and report defective items
- Prepare and label outgoing shipments for storage or dispatch
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or logistics
- Willingness to work extended hours if necessary
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Valid forklift license
- Part 108 – Aviation Security Awareness
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivation and a sense of ownership
- Attention to detail and task accuracy
- Flexible and open to various job functions
