Job Overview
The Senior SHEQ Officer at NASREC is responsible for managing all Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) functions on-site. This includes ensuring full legal compliance, conducting audits, managing risk assessments, and leading investigations to support a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and environmental laws.
- Identify and reduce potential compliance risks.
- Keep accurate records of SHEQ inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement on site.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
- SAMTRAC Certification
- 2-3 years of relevant SHEQ experience
- Knowledge of ISO Management Systems
- Proficient in Risk Assessments and Incident Investigation
- Clear criminal record
- Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing industries is an advantage
