Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Southern Africa is looking for a passionate and motivated IT Intern to join their Johannesburg office. This 12-month internship is your chance to grow your skills while supporting a global humanitarian organization committed to saving lives.

What the Job Is About

As an IT Intern at MSF, you’ll support day-to-day technical operations and help staff solve IT issues. You’ll be exposed to real-world technology problems, gain experience with software platforms like Office 365, and support the setup of video conferencing tools for global collaboration.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assist with video conferencing (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
  • Monitor backups and antivirus systems
  • Log help desk tickets and manage IT inventory
  • Support staff with account creation and email lists

Who Should Apply

This internship is ideal for recent IT graduates or students with a diploma or degree in Information Technology or networking. MSF welcomes applicants who are eager to learn and passionate about technology and humanitarian work.

Skills Requirements

  • A national diploma or degree in networking, information technology, or a similar discipline
