Grain Field Chickens, a division of VKB Agriculture (Pty) Ltd, is looking for a skilled Forklift Driver to join its team in Reitz, Free State. What the Job Is About
The role involves operating a forklift with a capacity of over 6,000 kg to move, load, and stack goods or pallets in the abattoir. You’ll help support logistics and operations by working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced plant environment.
Who Should Apply
- Individuals with a Grade 12 certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- Applicants with a valid forklift license
- Candidates with at least 1 year of forklift driving experience in a warehouse or plant setting
- Persons who can work in noisy, dusty, and hot/cold environments
- Applicants who can work overtime, shifts, and weekends if needed
- Clean criminal record is required

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect forklift before use and complete daily checklists

- Report damages and follow company safety procedures
- Be flexible with working hours and break times
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management
