Solareff is offering a unique 12-month opportunity for youth to join its Finance Team through the YES (Youth Employment Service) initiative. This is a practical, hands-on role based in Roodepoort that helps you build professional skills and work experience in a leading company.
What the Job Is About
This is not an internship that leads to a qualification or certification. Instead, it’s a full-time, paid position where you will assist the Finance Department with administrative and transactional duties. You will be part of a committed team, contributing to the company’s finance functions while learning on the job.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is open to South African citizens who meet the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 18 and 34
- possess a National Certificate or Grade 12 diploma (a post-matric qualification is a plus).
- Have not worked permanently for more than 12 months
- Are not studying full-time in 2025
- Have not previously taken part in a YES program
Skills Requirements
- Good with numbers and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Willing to work in a team environment
- Reliable and organized with a professional attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with finance-related admin tasks
- Process invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments
- Manage documentation and filing for audits
- Help with cashbook entries
- Send out customer statements
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties
