This teaching position involves delivering CAPS-aligned lessons to learners in Grades 4 to 6. You’ll help them master English or Afrikaans as a Home Language or First Additional Language. Beyond traditional language skills, you’ll also bring entrepreneurship into the classroom—teaching learners how to communicate persuasively, tell stories, and write with purpose.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons based on the CAPS curriculum.
- Integrate entrepreneurial themes such as persuasive speaking and business writing into lessons.
- Create and assess both formative and summative assessments.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Encourage independent thinking and teamwork among learners.
- Support school initiatives and contribute to the co-curricular programme.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Intermediate Phase or relevant degree with PGCE.
- Registered with SACE and holds current police clearance.
- Thorough understanding of the CAPS curriculum and child development.
- Ability to manage a well-disciplined, interactive classroom.
- Fluent in English and possessing outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
