What the Job Is About
The Shoprite Accounting Bursary is designed to support students on the Chartered Accountant (CA) path. Successful applicants will become part of the Shoprite Finance team after graduation and will have the opportunity to join the SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme. Over three years, this program provides in-depth technical and business training through job rotations across various departments, with mentorship from experienced professionals to prepare for the SAICA APC exam.
Who Should Apply
Shoprite is looking for ambitious students who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizens only
- 27 years old or younger
- Enrolled in BCom Accounting or BAcc (CA stream)
- In 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study, or PGDA/CTA level
- Maintaining a minimum of 65% aggregate
Skills Requirements
To qualify, candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance in accounting-related subjects
