Apprenticeship Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, and Engineering Graphics & Design.
OR
- N2 pass in four subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, and Industrial Electronics/Electrotechnics.
- To apply, candidates must pass a Technical Assessment covering Numeracy and Literacy.
- Because the work is physically demanding, candidates must be in good health and ready for a medical exam.
- Applicants must have a Code 08/B driver’s license.
- The job requires applicants to be based within 50 km of the Bell Richards Bay factory.
Additional skills or experience that are beneficial:
- Electrical Technology as part of Grade 12.
- Experience working in the engineering field.
- Successfully finished basic hand skills training.
