About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking apprentice who wants to learn and grow into a qualified welder. This is a paid welding apprenticeship offering both practical training and theoretical education.

As part of this program, you'll:

  • Train on real projects with experienced professionals
  • Attend trade school to learn welding theory
  • Work toward becoming a certified welder

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow the structured Trainee Welding Operator training plan
  • Complete all modules in the welding training program
  • Use welding tools and equipment safely and correctly
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Help with manufacturing tasks and welding preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Report any safety or quality issues
  • Keep accurate records using company systems like Kronos
  • Meet quality standards in all welding work

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with:
    • Mathematics (Standard or Higher Grade)
    • Physical Science
  • Trade-related subjects at school are a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the welding field
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to follow safety and quality standards
