Purpose of the Job
The Call Centre Agent will help customers with queries about their municipal accounts and billing. You’ll provide support, assist with account changes, and make sure all information is handled correctly and professionally.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle customer queries related to water, electricity, rates, and other municipal services.
- Give customers information about municipal services and accounts.
- Process new customer registrations and account closures.
- Assist with name changes and property registration questions.
- Help users sign up on the eServices platform.
- Use the municipality’s systems and tools to provide fast and accurate customer service.
- Suggest improvements for customer service policies.
- Always act with professionalism and helpfulness.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
- 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service or administration
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Requirements
- Grade 12 with a certificate in Administration
- 3 years of relevant work experience

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: R221,348.60 – R287,333.14 per year
