Are you passionate about youth support and HIV prevention? TB HIV Care (THC), a trusted name in public health since 1929, is hiring a Learner Support Agent (LSA) for the PPPrev Programme in uMgungundlovu, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. If you are between the ages of 18–35 and want to make a real impact in your community, this is your chance!

Key Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / TVET Level 2 or Grade 10 + 1 year in HIV programmes
  • Age: 18–35
  • Speak English, IsiZulu & other SA languages
  • Driver’s license is a plus
  • HIV Counselling experience is an advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Mobilise and educate Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW)
  • Promote HIV prevention, PrEP, and PPPrev programmes
  • Screen and identify vulnerable youth
  • Run youth clubs and support HIV case management
  • Keep accurate records and submit monthly reports
  • Attend training and team meetings
  • Use tools to report mobilisation and case status weekly
